Casa Viva lies directly on the beach where the kite and surf spot meet up. Flowers and little stones decorate the front. The only twelve rooms can be reached over stairs and around corners. Each of them is decorated differently with lots of love and local artisanry.
Martin, the manager, welcomes every guest personally. After the first Cuba Libre you will be introduced to kiters, surfers and lovely local chicas and chicos. There is no easier way in El Yaque to become part of the community.
The beautiful terrace and the deck chairs on the beach invite you to relax, listen to the sea, watch the pelicans or to gulp your favorite book.
The fastest W-Lan in town is for free.
To Casa Viva belongs as well the popular Sharks Bar and Restaurant, open all day, for the happy hour and an early dinner. It is known for delicious cocktails, excellent fish, a local specialty called tostones, Mexican night, Venezuelan night, and the always dancing and laughing girls behind the bar. Just ask Yesandra or Leo. They will love to show you the merengue moves.
If you travel with friends, one of the apartments is the insider tipp. The ocean view is spectacular. And the private terrace with hammocks and sofas is so huge and comfortable that we will have trouble to get you out of there.
Casa Viva is for the heart. Most guests become frequent guests and many of them friends.
